A dated 1960 s split-level was reborn as a crisp, contemporary retreat — its new glass walls and limestone terraces framing canyon views from every room.

Athena stripped the structure to its studs, cantilevered the living room and kitchen twelve feet into the backyard, and expanded the garage to fit a car lift. Smooth-troweled stucco, bronze-clad window walls and slatted white-oak interiors create a calm, gallery-like core that pivots toward the pool deck and putting green.

Inside, a steel-stringer stair and glass wine tower rise behind a two-story oak screen, while radiant-heated parquet and slab-marble fireplaces layer warmth against the minimalist shell. The primary suite gains a cantilevered balcony, pocket-door bath and walk-through wardrobe; behind the walls, new shear panels, Cat-6 wiring and an 18-kW solar array future-proof the home. Outside, re-graded slopes now host a salt-water pool, outdoor kitchen and drought-tolerant orchard, stitching family life seamlessly to the hills beyond.
