From raw shell to culinary showpiece — we built BBCM’s campus flagship at USC Village, pairing the brand’s West Hollywood flair with a sun‑soaked collegiate setting.
The 5,200 sq ft fit‑out centres on an open‑view kitchen and copper‑clad coffee‑roasting bar — inviting guests to watch every bake, brew and plate. Floor‑to‑ceiling glazing blurs the line between the dining room and a palm‑lined patio, where two 15‑foot heritage olive trees shipped from Northern California anchor the scene. Custom steel windows, terrazzo floors и a quartz‑topped bar echo BBCM’s signature aesthetic while standing up to heavy student traffic.
Back‑of‑house hosts dedicated baking stations, a walk‑in proofing room and a type 1 hood for high‑capacity roasting. Energy‑efficient HVAC, low‑flow fixtures and LED pendants support USC’s LEED ambitions, while acoustical ceilings temper lively brunch crowds. We fast‑tracked approvals with campus facilities, coordinated union trades and delivered the restaurant for a 2019 grand opening — on time, on budget and ready to serve cappuccinos and croissants from dawn till late.
