A minimalist brew bar brought vividly to life — our fit‑out for Coffee Commissary wraps crisp white tile in pops of hot‑pink steel, creating an Instagram‑ready café that still operates with barista‑level efficiency.
Inside the 1,800 sq ft lobby corner we installed a custom maple service counter whose staggered cubbies double as retail display. Powder‑coated framing lifts storage and greenery above the work‑surface, keeping sight‑lines clear while showcasing signature beans. Behind the glass, a compact U‑shaped bar houses twin espresso stations, cold‑brew taps and pastry refrigeration, allowing staff to serve peak commuter rush without cross‑traffic. Hex‑pattern concrete floors and globe pendants echo the brand’s mid‑century sensibility, tying the café into the surrounding modernist campus.
Food‑safe quartz tops, stainless returns and full‑height subway tile ensure quick wipe‑downs and long‑term durability. Under‑counter RO plumbing feeds brew equipment, while dedicated electrical runs future‑proof the layout for new grinders or proportioners. Energy‑saving LED strips illuminate shelving and the custom neon marquee, drawing visitors day and night. Completed in 2020, the project delivers Coffee Commissary’s trademark hospitality to a new downtown audience in a space as bright, flexible and forward‑thinking as the coffee it serves.
