Hollywood’s Walk of Fame gained a leafy pause when Greenleaf opened its two-level flagship — an exhibition-kitchen café whose glowing patio spills onto the Boulevard’s nightly buzz.
Athena executed a ground-up interiors package — sliding glass walls blur bar, dining room and street; a cedar-slat ceiling echoes the tiered wood seating that steps down to the plaza. Reclaimed brick, brass counters and hanging vines soften the steel moment-frame that threads kitchen hoods, draft-beer lines and A/V into the open plan.
The 4,800-sq.ft. build-out nests a display salad line, rotisserie and pizza hearth behind low iron glass, while a twin-sided bar pours to both dining room and patio. A retractable trellis shades diners by day and hosts string lights by night, its drainage and gas lines concealed within custom hollow beams. High-capacity grease exhaust, variable-speed make-up air and a dedicated compost chute meet Greenleaf’s sustainability goals, and acoustical clouds hidden above the ceiling baffles keep the conversation level intimate — all delivered on a fast-track schedule to meet the restaurant’s premiere alongside the adjacent mixed-use tower.
