This 1 800 sq.ft. accessory dwelling unit turns a deep side yard into a light-filled, two-bed home — finished in cool greys, quartz and wide-plank LVP.
An oversized island anchors the open kitchen, pairing shaker cabinetry with Calacatta-look tops and a full-height porcelain splash. Energy-Star appliances, recessed LEDs and ducted mini-split HVAC keep the interior efficient and clutter-free, while sliding glass doors draw the living space onto a private paver patio.
Exterior stucco, black fascia and flush LED sconces echo the main house, but a dedicated address, tankless water heater and whole-house filtration give the ADU true stand-alone comfort. Permeable pavers handle stormwater, and routed utilities were sleeved under new walkways — minimizing disruption to the existing landscape and owners alike.
